Come to our free summer teacher workshop!

“Putting Project-Based Learning to Work in Your Classroom”

This hands-on workshop will provide educators with the opportunity to get a closer look into the project-based learning (PBL) phenomenon that is sweeping through public schools nationwide. Educators will participate in PBL-themed lessons that can easily be modified to fit their own classrooms and also learn about planning an entire unit through the PBL process.

Presented by Abbey VanTyne
Abbey VanTyne is wrapping up her sixth year of teaching high school agriscience education at Norway High School. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from The Ohio State University and is involved in the Ohio and National FFA Organizations as an advisor. In 2020, Abbey was recognized as a Golden Owl award recipient from the Ohio FFA Foundation and has been recognized with awards from the Ohio Association of Agricultural Educators for activities conducted in her classroom through the project-based learning process.
